Yesterday I had the white show which was an amazing experience but I was not able to participate in workshop for set design in class today. I need to be sure I’m putting myself first and focus on my portfolio and stop saying yes to everyone who asks me for my time. This my future and my dream and I need to be sure I prioritize that over the needs of others. I’m doing some preliminary planning for my set design piece I’m doing over the winter break, I think I want to do a Lynchian themed piece but I need to run it buy a tutor before I dive head first into it. Its hard balancing this project, the white show, progress tutorials, and my potential going home all at once, but this is just another aspect of art school that I need to get used to, and it will make me a more well rounded creator in the end.
